Review and how it works

AWStats comes as a free simple but not lacking of options instrument that produces easily understandable web (but also ftp or mail) server statistics, graphically.
AWStats log analyzer may be used like a CGI or from command line and shows you all possible information your log encloses, in few graphical web pages like visits, genuine vistors, authenticated users, pages, domains/countries, OS busiest times, robot visits, kind of files, search engines/keywords used, visits duration, screen size, HTTP errors as well as others...
Statistics may be updated from a web browser or your scheduler.
It utilizes a partial information file to be capable to process large log files, often and fast.
It has the capacity to analyze log files from IIS (W3C log format), Apache log files (NCSA combined/XLF/ELF log format or common/CLF log format), WebStar and many all web, proxy, wap, streaming servers (and ftp servers or mail logs).
The software allows virtual servers, plugins and different options.
How to install & uninstall AWStats - system requirements Nothing special to install, use or uninstall it.
