Review and how it works

Active WebCam captures pictures at maximum 30 frames per second from about any video device e.g. USB, Analog or Network IP cameras, TV-boards, Camcorders etc.
The captured content can be broadcast either directly from your personal computer or uploaded to a FTP server.
The motion images may be viewed on the Internet operating with a web browser without the need of any plug-ins.
Active WebCam can execute both recording and broadcasting from no matter how many cameras.
With it, your camera or cameras may be utilized as a real surveillance system. When the active program detects motion in the monitored area, an alarm can be launched, e-mails with captured pictures may be sent, and the broadcasting or video recording starts.
The live broadcasting but also recording may be password protected. All video and audio will become scrambled without a valid password and cannot be watched.
It incorporates tools to place image overlays as well as date/time stamps, adjust picture size / quality, use Pan/Tilt/Zoom control.
