AxCrypt file encryption tool for Windows 98/ME/NT/2K/XP operating with the AES algorithm with 128-bit keys.
Ax Crypt mixes strong symmetric encryption with compression and double-click editing/viewing.
Encrypted files have a '.AXX' extension added to their names, and are shown with a new icon.
To encrypt a file, right-click it in Windows Explorer and choose 'AxCrypt | Encrypt'. To decrypt, right-click and choose 'AxCrypt | Decrypt' instead.
To edit or view an encrypted file - only double-click it.
No configuration is necessary for this file encryption instrument. Operate the installer, and it is immediately available.
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian or Swedish will be used for messages and dialogues based on the language of the system. This program documentation and installation scripts are in English.
