Etherscan Analyzer was designed as a complex network sniffer and protocol analyzer for Windows.
With this application, the user may capture and analyze all packets on the local network.
Etherscan decodes all major protocols, counting Ethernet, NetBEUI, TCP/IP, and others.
Packets are decoded by it down to the lowest layer with analysis of the most protocols and full access to raw data is provided.
The Etherscan Analyzer is suitable for reconstructing TCP/IP sessions. With this feature, there is no skill needed to view data in their exclusive format, for instance, you will be helped to read the actual text of an email - but also each attachment - just as it has been sent.
With it you are capable to filter for certain traffic suitably. Utilizing it customizable, practical filters during or after capture the user may isolate traffic by certain node, protocol, error sort and/or packet content. Also the user may set aliases to IP or MAC addresses.
Etherscan Analyzer was made as a functional software for LAN administrators, security experts, network programmers, or each one that wants to have a full picture of the traffic going through one's computer or LAN segment.
