FASoft ParEQ was intended as a 20 bands DirectX plug-in which assists users equalize mono and stereo wave files tracks from within audio programs that permit the DirectX plug-in architecture.
Operating with it plug-in you have the capacity to alter the sound of a wave file boosting chosen bands of frequencies, eliminating others, creating in this way new sounds or getting better the quality of bad recordings, e.g. those made thorough a non-excellent microphone. Operating with separate settings for left and right channels, the plug-in can "spatialize" the sound e. g. by getting better high frequency on one channel and boosting the lower ones in the other.
The FASOFT ParEQ plug-in settings may be practically adjusted with the mouse operating with a real-time frequency response window, which also let you see the signal frequency spectrum in realtime.
The FASOFT ParEQ plug-in contains an automatic instrument tuner.
FASOFT ParEQ permits both 16 bit and 24 bit processing, and makes use internal 64 bit precision for optimum sound and performance. Being a DirectX plug-in it may be utilized from inside several audio programs, e.g. FASoft's n-Track Studio, Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge, Cakewalk, CoolEdit Pro and the like.
