Review and how it works

FontMap can be used to view and print both installed and external fonts.
Its interface shows a variety of tables, individual characters, a keyboard view, font description, or whatever text you want to enter. Individual characters may be displayed in a "full-screen" view and custom table parameters may be set to "zoom" in on an elected portion of a font.
With FontMap, national character sets and unicode characters offered for a font may also be displayed.
For an individual font most all of the views that are displayed may be printed - tables, text, keyboard view, font description, and installation or national character set information. Several fonts may be printed in either a brief or "verbose" format.
If you have a CD (or whatever) with a bunch of fonts on it, there is no skill needed to print a sample of all the fonts it incorporates without needing to install them. Or, you are able to browse thru the fonts and on choice install the ones you desire.
Note that printing, but also the display of unicode and National character sets, is only offered to registered users.
What is new? Added support for .otf font files.
How to install & uninstall FontMap - system requirements Nothing special to install, use or uninstall it.
