Review and how it works

Hoo WinTail acts as an instantaneous log monitor and viewer for Windows like the UNIX tail -f program.
Hoo WinTail was intended to view the end of a growing file.
This tool is convenient for viewing software traces or server log instantly. The user may view the last part of a large file speedily not necessitating to load the full file.
Hoo Win Tail can capture and display OutputDebugString (Windows debugging API) output , too.
Hoo WinTail has a lot of good options for debugging instrument and system administration: highlight filters, include/exclude filters, monitor many log files, bookmarks support, minimize to systray and flash systray icon to indicate new lines written et cetera.
It acts as a file viewer only. It makes no changes to log files. It opens log files in read-only mode. As new lines are written to log file by other tools (e.g. the software or web server), this program reads the new lines and let users see them.
Hoo log monitor has an eye-catching and user-friendly MDI user interface. The user may monitor and view many log files and capture OutputDebugString output at a time.
What is new? Support configuring editors rooted in file extension.
How to install & uninstall Hoo WinTail - system requirements CPU MMX 133,
32MB RAM,
5-10MB free disk space
