Review and how it works

IndieVolume was conceived to be a supplement to Windows Volume Control that considerably gets better the way Windows tools sound.
This instrument is for experienced Windows users dreaming about those uncomplicated tools Windows Volume Control is lacking for years per-application volume, per-application balance and mute, support of FX, support of many audio devices, and so on. It has all that functionality. With its tools, the user obtains the most out of the audio.
IndieVolume permits every utility have separate volume level, independent from other tools volume level. E. g., you are listening to the music, and suddenly some utility LOUDLY shouts or dings. You only configure shouting utility to sound at various (lower) volume compared to the volume at which player utility is playing music.
Bespoke per-application volume, the tool comes with options for per-application balance and mute. E. g., you have sporadically visited one of that web sites, that play horrible sounds in the background. Utilizing this sound volume configuration the user may only mute webbrowser not to output each sound at all. Or you want to play flash games and would like to manage volume level.
IndieVolume is also handy for VoIP tools. When utility marked as "exclusive" plays a sound, the application simply mutes any tools. E. g., you are having business chat in Skype or GoogleTalk, and suddenly some utility plays a sound. With this sound setting application, the user may mark Skype/GoogleTalk as "exclusive", so none utility would sound during the Skype/GoogleTalk calls.
The application permits per-application selection of playback device. E. g., for incorporated sound card and SoundBlaster as second sound card, or USB/Bluetooth headset, the user may configure particular tools play on incorporated sound card, and others play on Sound Blaster or USB headset, wholly using the audio hardware.

What is new?
- Flash games in web browser now sound perfect
- Lock volume, so tools cannot change anymore volume.
- Exclusive mode. when utility is exclusive mode will sound, every tools will be muted
- Removed audio sounds 1000 hit limit nag window
- If you do not opt for auto launch on startup in installer, it really does not auto launch now
- Auto-check for new this tool release every 14 days
- The software is now handling DosBox ok. You have the capacity to play the desired dos games and this utility will deal with that!
- Now is handling rRootage game ok
- Fixed bug when handling sound in Outlook Express
