K9 comes as an email filtering instrument. This email sorting program may be used in conjunction with your common POP3 email instrument and trouble-free classifies incoming emails as junk email or non-spam email not necessitating for maintaining dozens of rules or constant updates to be downloaded.
The anti spam software K9 makes use of smart statistical analysis which may result in incredibly high accuracy after a relatively long period of usage.
K9 can be used as a Bayes theorem-based email classification instrument but it's specifically written to only differentiate between spam (junk) email and good email.

- Added support for customization of its resources
- Fixed a difficulty where if you kept the Escape key held down while attempting to open a message the program would crash.
- Fixed a difficulty when canceling out of resetting statistics would reset the date/time shown at the column head.
- Added "View Folder" button to Statistics tab to open up a Windows Explorer window on this utility database folder.
- Added date display to the email reader window.
- Modified system tray software tip for Win9x systems since it seems those OS'es don't support line breaks in the text.
- Added/updated the following it keyboard accelerator keys: CTRL-S = Spam, -B = Blacklist, -W = Whitelist.

Learns to recognize what you usually consider to be e-mail spam. It learns from its mistakes and becomes better and better at being capable to identify spam.
Is for standard POP3 email accounts only. It does not in just few minutes support Hotmail, AOL or each other kind of webmail kind systems, nor does it comes with option for SSL or protected authentication as used by MSN.
