Review and how it works
by SoftSpecialist
MyDefrag (JkDefrag in the past) provides a multitude of settings that allow to easily execute disk defragmenting and thus to optimize your Windows and its file system.
The work with it is very simple, only open the program and MyDefrag will display complete information regarding the content of the hard drive and how the files are stored on it. Once the disk fragmentation status is shown you only have to start the defragmentation process which is is wholly automated.
This Defrag instrument enables you to defragment and optimize FAT and NTFS file systems and can be used on several Windows systems e.g. 2000/XP/2003/Vista/7 or newer.
It can also be run in command-line mode, with a large set of advanced options.
By re-arranging the files in a less fragmented way, the input-output i.e. read write hardisk operations will be performed faster.
