Picasa will start working right after the installation, organizing all the image files found on the hard disk by date in a compilation called "Folders on Disk". And this will happen each time you open it. The result is a bunch of visual albums structured by date that will contain all the pictures, including the ones you forgot that you have.
There are also several useful options for image editing such as retouching or adding graphic effects to a photo.
Deleting a photo from a library is as simple as a right click. It is also possible to only hide the picture.
With Picasa it is possible to print photos to your home printer, share or send them by email or make gift CDs.
The new Picasa's Web Albums, allows the user to upload pictures to the web with only one click. You can also download photos from your buddies right to your PC.
