Review and how it works
Smart Pix Manager was designed as an interesting program for the management and viewing of all standard image, multimedia (AVI, MPEG, MP3, etc), Office, text and web files.
Smart Pix enables the user to rapidly search through and categorize the files in his multimedia lot operating with keywords and descriptions (which may be done with no user effort).
Smart Pix brings practical file security like encryption, password protection and even browsing of files in encrypted zips.
Databases may be shared across a network and support for off-line sources is incorporated (e.g. prompting for the correct CD-ROM).
What is new? Different improvements
Brief details - Wide Format Support, like all regular Photos, Sounds, Videos, Text, Office and HTML sorts
- Builds and maintains a database of the photos and enables the user to assign and clean different keywords against every file.
- Smart Pix permits AND/OR/NOT searching for photos of specified keywords.
- Smart Pix Viewer offers automatic detection of duplicate files within the bunch
- Unsophisticated, with a batch functionality for processing files and keyword assignment or removal. If the bunch of files is already sorted into folders the user may add initial keywords to all of them.
- Optional password restricted access (Database is encrypted!) - Optional storage of images with false extensions (such as .SPM) to get them invisible to other users/programs - Optional storage of photos within the database for high security
- Offers standard browsing of files on the personal computer system.
- Slideshow feature enables the user to display files in standard or random order.
- The Multishow function is designed to output slideshows made out of different images
- Viewing or editing MP3 tags
- Batch Image Conversion and Manipulation
- HTML Producing Wizard enables the user to rapidly make websites with image indexes
- Make Thumbnail Sheets and File Lists
- Limit access to the photos with Password Protection
- Storing photos with a modified false extension for rendering them invisible to others, and encloses batch renaming
