Review and how it works
by SoftSpecialist
Wireless WEP Key Password Spy uses a high-speed algorithm to reveal the security codes and the passwords related to the wireless network that are saved on your own personal computer.
Losing the authentication details is not funny as it will make you unable to connect your computer and to continue your work. Getting them back fast can be essential and here the minimalist interface will be very helpful: just press "Find Wireless WEP Keys" in order to begin the recovering process. In the lower part of the main window appears "Ethernet Card info spy" frame which shows data about the existing adapter, the amount of transferred data and the network throughput.
It shows the globally unique identifier of the adapter and the data related to this, such as the WLAN name (Service Set Identifier which differentiates wireless networks), the encryption sort (this can be 40-bit WEP, 104-bit WEP, or WiFi Protected Access with Pre-Shared Keys), and the WEP key linked to the network.
Brief details Reveals the keys used on Wi-Fi wireless networks that your machine was configured to work with. The goal of these security codes is to ensure the encoded data transfer between several devices on a local network.
It is well worth noting that the application will only work and will only recover data that you previously had and used to configure your own connection. It cannot be used to gather data about access points or networks that you did not own or are not entitled to access.
The pros A very quick way to get back the lost data.
The cons Not too much to say about its minimalist GUI.
How to install & uninstall Wireless WEP Key Password Spy - system requirements Needs a wireless ethernet card to "spy" the WEP keys.
