WorldTimer was conceived to be a user modifiable world clock which may display a number of clocks operating with assorted time zones. Any clock may be set to let users see with either a digital or analog clock face.
The user was designed to configure the appearance of the clocks to fit their own tastes. About each aspects of it are user modifiable, like the font and colour used to let users see text.
World Clocks can be digital or analog and a combination of both can be displayed simultaneously.
Beyond this, WorldTimer includes the capability to add user modifiable countdown timers.
WorldTimer is mainly practical for persons who are in contact with friends and business associates in other parts of the world. Usually, in this day and age, with internet usage as widespread as it's, it's hard to be done to do without some means of simply determining the time in assorted parts of the world.
WorldTimer permits you to record different clocks, in a trouble-free and simple to configure manner. The top clock window may be kept on top of other windows with the intention that users may always check it at a glance. Should you 'lose' the clock window, a rapid click on the World Timer icon in the system tray will bring it to the top again.
The Timer can update the system clock operating with the SNTP network protocol. This choice may be enabled or disabled, and may be set to update the system clock once when World Timer starts, or at standard intervals determined by the user. If the system clock does need updating, a maximum correction may be tested for.
A world map may be displayed and optionally the world time zones and day / night regions may be superimposed on this map.
