Foobar2000 is simple but versatile, it can play Ogg Vorbis, FLAC as well as a full suite of other audio formats.
While the Foobar's features are basic, the use of add-ons can add new desired functions thus making an advanced player.
Although the functions in this regard are not advanced, the user is also enabled to rip disks and convert audio files. However, its main quality is the high-quality sound it can output. This comes from the special technique used - noise shaping and dithering.
The interface is not brilliant but still modifiable in the several aspects and assists successfully to manage and view the song library.
