Review and how it works
by SoftSpecialist
n-Track Studio was made for multi-tracking MIDI recording. Your PC will become a complete device able to record without limits, multiple audio and MIDI tracks.
It allows parallel recording from 16 bit and 24 bit soundcards and several audio effects may be applied automatically to any track. It includes a multi-band compressor, a spectrum analyzer for measuring the signals and many effects such as Echo, intensify and attenuate the frequency, raise and decrease the pitch, chorus, repeating sounds etc..
This program may support external plugins and instruments from DirectX and VST (Virtual Studio Technology) to process simultaneously the audio signals and for playback.
The tracks may be exported to the common MIDI format and edited operating through the incorporated editing window. It is possible to save them as wave files.
When the user finishes the recording, he may mixdown the music to CD or create MP3 using the included encoders.
What is new? Control speed and pitch.
Open and edit .wma files,
Mixing directly in the course of playback.
Volume and pan evolution may be controlled using the timeline window.
The pros It's a complex tool for recording and mixing.
The cons It takes time to understand the program.
How to install & uninstall n-Track Studio - system requirements Minimum a Pentium III 800 with 256 Mb RAM.
